QUESTIONS

  • The landlord shut off our water at 3 in the afternoon and said it was only for a half hour to fix a small leak. It is now 8 am the following day and our water is still off with no word from our landlord. What can I do or call to get this issue remedied
  • My Landlord has started Eviction proceedings and has become quite vicious about the whole issue. I do not dispute the fact that I am late with the rent. (Serious Medical Issues arose) and have been attempting to make arrangements for the arrears and current amounts due. He is refusing to discuss that option. He is now adding that I am a problem to the other neighbors, in addition huge maintenance list he has told me has cost the landlord undue stress and hardship. I have over 100 pictures available to show the condition upon move in and he refuses to see them as well. Opinions? Regards, KFP
  • In 2012-2013 my 80 year old grandmother sold everything she owns to move to Yuma, Az to live with her now husband. He has lived in Az for a few years. Now that he has depleted all of her money and she is ill he now wants to dump her off in a nursing home and move to Canada. What is your state laws on this? I believe if this is allowed to go on in the state of AZ this man will continue to do this to other seniors if he is allowed to get away with this. He has moved her across the country away from all family only to dump her at the state's expense so he can drive back and forth from Yuma to Canada as he pleases!
  • I bought a condo in July 07' using funds from a City of Phoenix bond program. I was unaware of a stipulation stating that the owner must occupy the unit for the life of the loan. I was laid off from my employer and I have had to relocate to Texas for work. Now the mortgage company is stating that they can accelerate the loan pay-off requiring me to pay the loan in full. I pay my mortgage payment each month, how can they do this?
  • how many months do one has to wait to reapply for ALTCS, if you have been denied and you are now in Hospice, awaiting salvation. Thanks
