  • My wife and I own a park model home and live here year around. We are both over 70. This is a 55+ park which is fenced and security good. We love living here due to secure area. After buying our home about 2years ago we have had the rent on lot raised 3 times . We live on a small fixed income that has been dipped into hard this past year due to me getting cancer in tonsil and tounge. After 7hr surgery and chemo and radiation much cost had to come from budget. Is there anyway we can stay in our retirement home when the lot price is being pushed past our fixed income..   • My landlord entered us into a lease with the knowledge that the home was INFESTED with termites. The neighbor pointed them out and told us he informed her before our occupancy. We immediately verbally requested she send a professional not only to inspect the safety of the homes structure, but to treat the problem. She ignored our request. We then turned in a written request and she immediately sent someone unannounced to spray for them. We still want an inspection. The damn things are dropping through our ceiling and our porch literally is falling apart. What can we do now?
  • Can a landlord that has no lease with the tenant file eviction for non payment of rent? Landlord does not maintain the property. It is a mobile home. There are safety issues that have not been addressed. There has been no communication from the landlord to the tenant.

  • I have 2 kids, ages 1 & 2. I have for the same company for 5 years. The father of my kids and I split up about 8 mos ago. Since the split we have shared custody. I drop the kids off before work (4 days a week w/his grandma watching them) and pick them up after work on 2 of the days, the other 2 they usually spend the night there. He has recently filed in court for joint custody and child support. He is unable to hold a steady job for more than a few months at a time. He also has a history of drug use and violence. Am I at risk of loosing custody due to work? Should I put my kids in daycare?
  • I have a walmart discover card that even if i pay the minimum payment, they will tack on a late fee then add the balance and fees together to get the interest payment. My card was over the limit and I did pay that amount, yet they still added another late fee. They have charged over 200 dollars in fees. This is b/s, they get me one way or the other. Seems like double dipping to me.
  • I got a harassment injunction against someone in February 2018, they violated it and are being prosecuted today Oct 2018. They were threatening before, but now they are extremely angry. I am trying to break my lease becasue I dont feel safe with this person knowing where I live and my apt landlord says my injunction/ PO is too old and because it wasn't domestic violence, it doesn't count. This person has threatened me and is obviously being punished by law, what can I do? What AZ statutes if any allow me to break my lease due to my situation?
