  • How can I get an attorney to answer my email when my attorney withdrew from my case and I represent myself? QDROs were drafted by both sides yet last minutes from judge said ADR needs to take place before either QDRO will be accepted. I moved to FL, Was divorced in AZ where her attorney is. Do I have to wait 30 days for a response before filing a motion to compel? P
  • The downstairs neighbor keeps complaining to us & the office that we are making loud noises at night. We continually tell them its not us. We told the complaining neighbor to call the police or on-site security next time so there will be an 3rd party witness. She didn’t. She came up and complained to us again and we told her everyone but 1 person was sleeping and to call the on-site security. She went to the office and complained. Each time she complains they call/contact us as if we are guilty even though we aren’t. At what point does it become harassment by both accusing parties?
  • I rent a house and the contract will expired on 01/31/2020. On 01/03/2020 I gave the tenants a notice to NOT renew the lease agreement and advised them to have the property vacated by 02/05/2020.   • Can the apartment management come in to my apartment and take photographs? I refused but they did it anyway, I asked him to leave and he ignored me. The photos included my entire kitchen, my pantry that I purchased and it has glass doors (not part of the apartment, a stand alone cabinet) and my bathroom. We had recent repairs but he didn't take photos in the areas repaired and refused to answer why. My personal belongings were in the photo. The apartment was very clean, nothing Out of compliance but I feel my rights were violated.
  • I live in a senior mobile home park in Phoenix, AZ and own my home. The park owner is sending threatening notices that he is making a new rule that all tenants have to provide proof of homeowners insurance and minimum coverage shall include comprehensive liability, fire and windstorm insurance, and coverage for the removal of home in case of a total loss. None of us seniors can afford this. Wouldn't the AZ Landlord and Tenant Agreement Act, ARS 33-1452 - Rules and regulations, Item B pertain to this?

  • My neighbors water heater recently needed to be replaced. The property manager was notified but the building maintenance man was out sick. It took over a week to replace the unit and complete repairs. During the time of the unit being damaged, and up to it's replacement, the cost of electricity used to power it went through the roof. Mt neighbor's electric bill overages during the two month period of the unit failing to work properly and then breaking down beyond repair, totalled $415.66. Is it the landlord's responsibility to reimburse the tenant for the cost of the electrical overages?
  • I missed my initial hearing for unemployment last june due to a misunderstanding on the directions i have since filed for appeals as i keep getting denied. i am on my last one it seems i am trying to prove good cause for missing my first hearing. i was advised by the az gov office to seek legal advice. I feel i had good cause i understood i had a phone hearing and i was not going to be present so i did not need to call in advance as directd onpage one. the directions are misleading. what can i do to prove good cause? i did not know that good cause was te case until after my 1st appeal thanyou
