She's giving the baby her new boy friend's last name even though she and I both know the baby is mine. What can I do to be in my child's life legally without her being able to tell me no?

With that being said I have taken the paternity with it saying I’m the father, which I knew. what do I do now to get my name on my sons birth certificate. I have his birth certificate with me. His mother will not agreee to sign the necessary paperwork for me to be added onto his birth certificate. What packet would I need to go down to the court and get this case started. The end result is be put on the birth certificate and proceed to change his last name to mine bc mother is not present / active.
  • I was a stay-at-home mom for the majority of my marriage. During that time I accrued some student loans. In our separation agreement we each agreed to pay half of that, and any other, debt. A lawyer I spoke with stated that I am eligible for alimony (we were married 9 years and I stayed home for 6 of them), but my spouse takes great exception to this. He believes that since I did not contribute, monetarily, I should not be entitled to alimony. What should my expectations be?

  • In early February, my spouse and I received a Notice of Non-Renewal of Lease without reason. We were given until March 31st to turn in the keys & pay March's rent. Our uniy has many health and safety issues which the property management company continues to ignore. This may or may not be as the repairs cannot be done if we still occupy the unit.We could not make the rent for March. With no option to stay, finding a new one with the money to put down was crucial. My spouse works an 'Essential' job in unsanitary conditions-in fear of contracting covid-19. Can we defend more time when its safe?

  • My air conditioning stopped working Friday night and I am being told that because it is not more than 81 degrees outside it is not considered an emergency, they also stated they don’t know how long it will be until they fix it because of the Coronavirus. How long do they have before they have to fix my air conditioner? I have 2 children and it’s very hot inside my home this is not okay.
  • I put in a two week notice, but after the two weeks were up, my old job would not give me my PTO (paid time off) and I accumulated 80 hrs worth. What do I do and who can I talk to?
