QUESTIONS

  • Over the past few months my apartment has been having serious plumbing issues. I have sewage coming up into my tub and when it is really backed up I cannot even flush the toilet. I am also unable to use my washer or shower due to the backup. My landlord who rents two apartments is taking his time handling the problem and refuses to use professionals to make the repairs and refuses to rent us a hotel. I read that the next step is to call the health department. Would that only make the problem worse. Is my landlord able to evict me in retaliation. My lease is good up to January.
  • Although I have guardianship of my young nephew and my wife and I have established ourselves as loco parents. My sister now is in custody of him.   • I purchased a mobile home in 55+ almost 2 years ago. I only pay lot rent monthly for lot #46. Today I received an additional email with an additional separate bill of $32 which said "Lot 47 occupied by Unit 46 extra lot fee charge". I was unaware the mh I purchased 2 years ago was on more that 1 lot, nor does any lease agreement or purchase paperwork state anything about my mh sitting on a double lot. This is the first I am hearing of this. Out of the blue they are billing me for a partial additional lot. Can they legally do that after 2 years? Space/Lot #47 is not mentioned anywhere.

Is it possible I sign a marriage certificate in US then courier to her to sign for her part? She needs to apply her Visa as my supplement with the legal Marriage Certificate before she can legally stay with me in US.
