Are there any type of communication laws, guidelines,(w/ the mother) that are necessary for when I have my children during my parenting time?

My son is 5 years old. I have sole custody. I read the self service paperwork and it says I have to notify the other parent or show "order terminating parental rights of the other parent." Is my divorce decree showing sole custody good enough? I know sole custody gives me the right to make decisions for my children even if my ex does not agree.

In 2005, my wife at the time called the police said I threatened her. County sheriffs arrested me. She admitted it was a lie. Now almost ten years later I'm in another state, put in for a concealed weapons license and it showed up and I was denied. Was told I could try again in a year. My question, even though not charged can this be removed easy? Note back then I even had a ccw in az.

My father remarried two years ago. His health is taking a turn for the worse and he will need assisted living soon. They currently live in independent living with a meal plan. His own retirement is enough to cover the cost of assisted living, but his new wife is spending money on groceries that they don't need - about 900 dollars a month. The family is thinking of getting my dad out of this situation, but we don't know what the best thing to do is. What steps should we take?

Just this past year (2010) I found a website where I could file an answer to an eviction notice, ONLINE. What happened to that?

If I move out of the house (after 50 years of marriage) this will not be considered 'abandonment' or 'possession is 9/10th of the law' as my husband tells me will it once I file for divorce?
