  • Ilived in a house for seven years and was wrogfully evicted because the landlord wouldnot fix the septic which was over flowing running under my house which was beyond toxix and smelled bad on the whole block. I ended up calling the EPA on him and he ended up getting fined 7000 dollars. once he found out i did it he evicted me out of retaliation. is this legal or not and whats the statute of limitations on this?
  • I signed a lease that was marked that we would be provided with a washer and dryer. We move in and there is no washer and dryer available. Landlords said washer and dryer are convenience only. I always paid in person., But he was out of state, so I got money order and held it till he returned. He demanded late fees. Now he refused to return our deposit. He didn't do a walk through when we vacated either. What can I do. He charged us 1100 deposit.
