Question: My brother lives in West Virginia and he is suffering from dementia. He has no one who can assist him in West Virginia. I need to find an attorney in Arizona who can help me become his guardian. Recently he went to an attorney in WV to make out a will; however, he could not pass the competency test. He answered only one question--his name.

There is a quick screening process and then a list of attorneys in arizona that handle adult guardianship may be sent to you. You may also want to search to see if there is a program similiar in West Virginia that could assist with an attorney. You can find information at http://www.azcourts.gov/selfservicecenter/Self-Service-Forms. There are forms for adult guardianship on line with information and instructions that may assist you as well.
