Question: I have been separated from my wife for 17 years. I need to get a divorce is there any help i can get paying for this? I also need to know where to go to get documents started. thank you
Answer: Community Legal Services may be able to assist you if you cannot afford an attorney. Contact your local Community Legal Services office to see if you qualify. The Modest Means Project may be able to assist if you meet their criteria, they offer attorneys that would give you a one hour consultation for a reduced fee. You may also want to check with your local superior court self service desk to get the forms you need.
