Question: What age can you start getting senior help with the des programs?
Age eligibility requirements vary. For example DES’ “Home based services” eligibility begins at age 60 https://www.azdes.gov/landing.aspx?id=7395 ALTCS (Arizona Long term care Services) eligibility: Age 65 or disabled; is needs based (for low-income residents). Applicants must medically qualify for benefits.
Various forms of senior help are available through AZ DES, but you may wish to begin with their Division of Aging and Adult Services at https://www.azdes.gov/daas/
