Caregivers
questions & answers
Question: I reading tutor and have a student who works as a caregiver. Is it true that as of Jan. 1, 2010 she will have to be certified as a caregiver?
Answer: For better or worse, Arizona does not have a licensure process for non-medical caregivers. In order to act as a guardian or conservator of an unrelated person, the state requires that the individual or entity be licensed to act as a fiduciary.
