Question: Myself and my 5 sons were on AHCCCS but I canceled when I got married. Well now my husband and I are separated and I'm on SSI no other income. Can I re qualify for myself and my 5 sons or at least my 5 sons even if I'm still legally married?

Answer: According to the AHCCS website, all Arizona residents can apply. If you are under age 18, you may apply for yourself and your children. However, if you are living with a parent(s), you must include your parent(s) as part of your household. You can apply for a person or household as their representative. You can have someone else apply for you as your representative. According to AHCCS, there is not a time of residency requirement in order to apply for AHCCS.
