Question: What is the Arizona eggshell sull rule?
Answer: The eggshell skull rule is a tort doctrine that means that you take a person or victim as you find them. Black's Law dictionary defines it as, "The principle that a defendant is liable for a plaintiff's unforeseeable and uncommon reactions to the defendant's negligent or intentional act." For example, if you intentionally lightly grabbed someone's arm and this caused that person's arm to break you may be held responsible for the broken arm; even though if you did the same exact thing in most other circumstances your action would not have caused that degree of damage. The law does not make exceptions because one person is more fragile than another, you take a person as they are.
