Question: How do I get my file \case number?
Answer: If your case is a Maricopa County action, and you have access to the Internet, this is easy. Go to the Maricopa County Superior Court Family Case Search and type in your first and last name. Other jurisdictions (e.g. Pima County) also have fairly sophisticated websites that permit searches like these. In general, you can search on one of the court websites if there is one for your jurisdiction, phone or visit the court in which your case is filed. It should not be very hard to determine the case number from that point forward! Also, if anyone has served you with papers on the case, then obviously the case number will be on those documents, too. Look on the first page, upper right corner.
