Question: How old do you have to be to sign legal papers with parents knowing about it?
Answer: Pursuant to ARS 8-101, unless a court of the United States has declared a minor to be emancipated, a person is not considered an adult until they reach the age of 18. Until then, any and all legal documents must be signed by a minor's guardian/parent.
