Question: i owe a company for buying some musical equipment, i became ill and had to quit work. I tried to return the stuff, but the company just wants money...they say i will be going to jail? is this true? do i have any options

“Stating or suggesting that you can be arrested for not paying a debt, or that you have committed a crime, or saying anything intended to state that you are or will be publicly disgraced” is classified as a “Deceptive Collection Process”.
