Was buying a car from a friend, car title & registration left in friends name, insurance in my name, never late on a payment, friend sold car out from under me, I had put alot of money into the car. Is there anything I can do? The law officer that came when car was taken said I could file a civel law case, is this true?

Question: I have a vehicle that is still under factory warrenty. I had problems with the Key, brought it to the dealership, they told me since I had a after market alarm installed (Over a year ago, that never caused problems to the vehicle) It voided my warrenty. They never gave me any kind of proof showing that my alarm was the cause of the problem. I then had to pay out of pocket and feel scammed. Does aftermarket stuff void warrenties?

Question: Went to a used car dealer and found a car I wanted. Made a $3000 down payment. A week later dealer calls me and ask if could come in a sign some paperwork get there and he tells me that the bank didn't approve financing. Question: I recently purchsed a used boat and plan on suing the seller for breach of contract by material misrepresentation. He lives in Pinal County, I live in Maricopa County. The physical transaction occurred in Maricopa County, however the negotiations occurred over the internet. Can I file the claim in Maricopa County small claims court and have him served in Pinal County, or do I have to file in the county where he lives?

Question: I purchased an ET center from a local store. I signed a paper that said no refunds and exchanges are per their approval. I asked them to place this furniture on hold for a least a month as our home was being rebuilt from a fire. Twelve days later I called them and advised I no longer wanted the furniture and they have refused to credit my credit card due to the paper I signed. Is this legal for them to say no refunds on furniture I never got?

Question: Hello we recently had our wedding at a country club in Scottsdale. We have had multiple complaints that there were people under age being served liquor at the wedding. The country club even admitted to serving to one of the people. I have been going back and fourth with them in regards to why they were not asking for ID and they are coming up with an answer for everything. We already reported to country club that they were serving to minors but we want to know what we can do in regards to getting some of our money back. We paid almost 8000 for our wedding and had issues that night becuase of under age drinking and complaints. Out expectation of the country club was to ID people since we paid for an open bar. Is there anything else I can do besides reporting them? Thank You

Question: I signed a contract in mid april to have my kitchen remodeled. I gave the contractor a down payment for the future job. They had their license suspended two days later and can not do any work until it is renewed. Now the company has changed names and license numbers. Is my contract with them void? Question: Is there a "lemon law" for refridgerators. We have a fridge less than 4 years old, the compressor went out and GE fixed it without charge. Then a month and a half later the freezer stopped working. It was repaired, then broke again one month later. Repair men have been out to the house multiple times and can't fix it. GE is stating that they will give us a discount on a new model but will not replace under the limited 5 year warranty. Do we have any legal rights in AZ? Thank you.

Question: In Az is it illegal for a used car dealership to sell a vehicle that had not yet been emissioned tested first? I have read on the Arizona Dept. of Enviromentak Quality page that they do,does this mean the contract I signed is technically void? Please dont judge me as i have had other repos and garnishments for them and they have all been paid for. i bought the car in late december 2012 and it wasnt till late feb. 2013 when they finally had to do an emissions test as my license plate wouldnt be mailed off till it was done. Question: My mom put her RV on consignment in Yuma. She passed away so now I have the RV. I recently accepted an offer last July 16th. The RV place held the money while I got a Washington title. I sent them a copy of title on Aug. 17 and told them I needed the money first, then I will sign over title. They received my letter on Aug. 21,called me that day and cancelled the deal and gave the money back. There is more to this situation. Is this legal? Did they have the right to cancel this deal without letting me know? They refused to give me the money until the title was complete.

Question: I hired a moving company to move my stuff from WI to AZ (company is based in IL.) Upon reviewing the contract I discovered bad math, but I had already signed. When my stuff got here, I had to pay the remaining $650 in cash to the driver or he would return my items to IL and be charge for them holding my items. I was then pressured to place a $0 in the what is due. However, my issue is that they had overcharged me. The driver would not deal with any of those issues and I had to pay him. If I file a claim do I have a chance to be granted my overpayment, or am I SOL due to the $0 on balance due.

Question: An insurance company contacted us and informed us that our father purchased us whole life policies the year of our birth. He is not alive so we have no information on these policies. The insurance company claims that both my brother's and my policies have had two loans issued against them on the same date. They cannot provide us any documents to prove the loans that have over the last 30+ years have increased for interest and penalties to over $8500 on each policy. Question: I have a ten year maintenance agreement with XXXXX, Inc dated 4/22/2016, for a twice a year maintenance service on my air conditioner / furnace which they installed for my home. I paid $1600.00 for this service. (This comes to $80.00 per service) and I received five services. When the sixth service was due (April 2019) I called for an appointment and their phone is shut off. I called their offices in Tucson, Pheonix and Glendale, all their phones have been shut off and the Tucson office is locked. I can't find anyone and they still owe me $1200.00 and I don't know what to do.
