My children's father and I have joint legal custody and joint physical custody. He just provided 60-day notice that he is moving more than 100 miles away. I read that I need to request a hearing to prevent this. How do I do that?

I am a Tenant At Will and the manager of the ***** is trying to evict me and will not accept my payment. I live at unit 12. I had to move from 5 because the sewer backed up, I was undergoing cancer treatment at the time and could not stay there. It never was fixed. Then management offered me unit 15 so I moved. The bathtub was not properly finished, so they offered me unit 12. We have had bedbugs, which they failed to treat properly. Then they called an exterminator. This apartment also has an rat or squirrel living in the walls and it sounds like a race track in here! Help.

My lease ended and I moved from my apartment earlier than I originally anticipated. When planning my move I had submitted a request to forward my mail with an effective date of June 1st because I wasn't anticipating moving early but that's the way the movers worked out. I asked my old complex if they would allow me to get my mail from my box since I have turned in my keys to them already and they said no. I also asked if they would get the mail and just allow me to pick it up and they said no to that too. Are they allowed to withhold my access to my mail?

I am sending this for my mother. My dad left her his retirement to her but nothing else. She has about $25,000 in credit card debt (they bought a vehicle using a credit card with a 2% interest)and has an income of about $4,277 including retirement, veterans benefits and ss. Everything was fine until ill health made it impossible for her to live alone. She sold her mobile home, put the $$ in savings and moved into a senior apartment. She has recently moved into a more expensive assisted care living. Her income is enough to pay her rent but we still have to pay her $600 a month credit cards bills that my dad left her with. She only has about $1,100 in saving so either she files for bankrupcy or she just doesn't pay her credits cards anymore. She does use her credit cards so bad credit will not hurt her. I am sure that her current living location will not kick her out as long as she is paying her rent. What will happen if she doesn't pay her credit card bills anymore?

I have an almost 6-year-old son; never married; son's father is on his birth certificate and I receive child support, but no written custody order or anything else. (Does that mean paternity has been established, but I by default have legal custody?) Son's father moved out of state a few years ago; we maintain regular contact and do visits when we're able.
