QUESTIONS

  • My husband inherited his father's home 2years ago. He went to prison before changing the deed and title in his name. Now the home is in forcloser . I as his wife am not in the will. Can I sell the home while he's in prison with his permission
  • Can a Property Manager represent the owner in the JP Courts or is an attorney required?
  • I was charged for burglary and theft felonies. I signed a plea admitting to the theft and the burglary charge was dismissed. After completing my probation the theft was reduced to a misdemeanor. I then had the misdemeanor set aside. Both the burglary and theft are showing up on an apartment background check and they don't say anything about being dismissed or set aside. Could this be an error? Could the court have mistakenly not cleared the conviction? Or is it the program they are using is not accurate? Thanks
  • My husband ex spouse is threating to have me and him pay for child support since I am the one who makes the most income will I have to pay child support for his kids?
  • Okay, my daughter is 37 years old. Married and is there a chance to end the child support as it's been deducted from my check for along as I've been employed. Over 30 years. I know there were arrears but isn't there something one can do as it prevents jobs, loans etc. Rudy
  • My children (14 & 17) just started overnights with their father. After a 9 month period where he didn't visit them at all. He has a live in girlfriend and 1 year old child with her. He is now in the habit of leaving my kids to babysit the 1 year old and go out with his girlfriend during his visitation. He and his girlfriend go out drinking. They have a domestic violence history (but more than 2 years ago) involving alcohol both times. Can I prevent this in any way? Isn't visitation supposed to be for my kids to spend time with their father, not babysitting his new kid until midnight/later?

There was no notification of the increase and they are also taxing the tax amount stated in the lease.
