  • My question is about signing a lease and the rent is showing 745.00 a month which I signed on July 30th of this year. From 09/01/2015 to midnight 08/31/2016. I was told by the manager of the complex that there was a mistake was made by there computer and that the rent should have been for 796.62. This was told to me after I had sign my original lease. The manager wanted me to initial a additional paper to show that the computer should have shown that the rent was suppose to be 796.62.what I want to know is do I pay the 745.62 or the 796.62.

  • The mobile home I rent was severely damaged in a monsoon storm back in May of this year. The entire roof was ripped off and in some areas (my bedroom ) I was able to see the sky! It took a little over a week before they had someone come START repairs. During the wait the rain continued. My roof was repaired However, the water damage in the inner ceiling has not.   • my landlord gave me a notice to terminate my tenancy she says that i destroyed the outside which is not true and that i had illegal occupants living with me not true and that the inside of my house was unsafe and unhealthy also not true an inspector was at my house twice at the same time she is talking about they saw nothing wrong also a couple of months ago I asked the landlord to fix my air conditioning she failed to do so so I called section 8 they gave her thirty days to fix it she did on the last day of the thirty days so she told me Iin the phone that that's why she is really kicking me

A lawyer I spoke with stated that I am eligible for alimony (we were married 9 years and I stayed home for 6 of them), but my spouse takes great exception to this. He believes that since I did not contribute, monetarily, I should not be entitled to alimony. What should my expectations be?
