How long does a landlord have to return partial payment in their possession, after no documents were signed outlining date rent will be cured from tenant? Can they legally proceed while excluding the partial payment in their possession from the court documentation summons all together? No 5 day notice was received via certified mail and no agreement entered into that they can accept partial payment and still pursue to evict. Please help.

I got granted temporary sole legal decision making of my daughter but during this case I got into a car accident with my other daughter, I was not the driver or passenger and had no illegal part in this accident. Now my daughters father is telling me he has temporary sole custody and I cannot see her at all. He has domestic violence and was told that sole custody was not an option in our case for him. He got a lawyer and we made a settlement so it would be easier for me because the accident ruined everything with my life and I signed it but she told us that we needed to get it notarized.

can my landlord tell me who can come to my house

I recently moved out of a rental home 10/31, my understanding is the landlord has 14 days to either return your security deposit of supply a document showing the deductions we did not receive anything until 10/31 and it came in the form of a email not a letter, they said they had mailed it but we did not receive it and I have email showing it was clearly if it was mailed at all it was sent well after the 14 days. I am trying to understand the tenant law is it correct because they didn't comply with the 14 days I can get all deposit of the back ?

My Mother lived in and owned property in Sun City, AZ for about 30 yrs. She had two living children whom have had a rather toxic relationship. She had a living trust and her son is named Successor Trustee. In 2003 she suffered a small stroke and (while still mentally alert) she had a problem with her speaking ability. As a result, she retired as Trustee and named her son who divides his time between New Mexico and Alaska. Her son physically relocated her to New Mexico about 10 months before she passed in Feb. 2011. He had sold her property in AZ in Sept 2010 but moved all her personal belongings to his property in NM prior to that date. Her remains are interred in AZ. Which state would have jurisdiction if a probate proceeding is necessary? (i.e.- Say the Successor Trustee fails to act?)
