Landlord and Tenant - Mobile Home Parks
questions & answers
Question: My RV park closed the pool and hot tub. Don’t the chemicals in both of these kill the COVID -19 ? I can go in river , why not my pool which is safer?
Answer: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, residential landlords are being permitted to exercise extra discretion in deciding whether and how to adopt and maintain specific pandemic-related health and safety policies. Any tenant who believes that a pool or other community amenity that has been closed for the past few months should be reopened now that the statewide stay-at-home order has expired may wish to send a written request to the landlord. The tenant may wish to ask that the pool or other community amenity be reopened with tenants required to maintain social distancing (and/or wear masks, etc.) in accordance with federal, state, and local guidance.
