Landlord and Tenant - Mobile Home Parks

questions & answers

Question: A tree in the adjoining lot was blown over by high winds and fell across my rv and damaged it to the point it is uninhabitable. Is the owner of park responsible for damages??

Answer: Depending on exactly what happened and why, someone’s insurance may pay for the damage. If someone was at fault (for example, because the tree was known to be unstable and therefore should have been removed as a safety precaution), then a civil lawsuit may be an option. You may wish to contact the landlord, if you have not already.
