Landlord and Tenant Rights and Responsibilities
questions & answers
Question: How many hours does a landlord have to give to come and inspect the OUTSIDE of their renters’ home?
Answer: Arizona law does not address this specific issue. It says only that, except in the case of an emergency or if the tenant has requested that the landlord make a specific repair, the landlord must provide the tenant with at least 48 hours advance written notice before entering the rented dwelling (A.R.S. 33-1343).
