Question: Am i obligated to give a 60 day notice or a 30 day notice prior to moving out

Answer: Arizona law does not regulate how much notice you must provide to move out of a living space.  Instead, this is something that should have been specified in your lease.  
It’s important to know that breaking your lease early may result in consequences.  The landlord may charge you rent for the remainder of your lease until the living unit is re-rented.  There may be other penalties that are specified in your lease.

There are a few reasons for which you are allowed to break your lease without consequences, including issues of domestic violence and military service.  For the full list of exemptions, see the links below.
