Question: I rent a room from sommeone and there was a house vote to kick us out..how long do we have?
Answer: When you rent a room, you must be evicted through the same process as any other tenant (30 day notice, court papers, court hearing, etc) unless you pay by the week, in which case a 10 day notice followed by court papers and court is required. So you'll have at least 20 days and possibly more until you have a court date and then 5 days after that if the judge rules against you.
