Question: Section 33-1319 , part D states that single family homes are excluded from provisitons of this section (bed bug provisions). I own one condo which has an adjoining wall to another condo I do not own. Does this condo count as single family, since I have no control over the other unit?

According to ARS § 33-1310, “"Single family residence" means a structure maintained and used as a single dwelling unit. Notwithstanding that a dwelling unit shares one or more walls with another dwelling unit, it is a single family residence if it has direct access to a street or thoroughfare and shares neither heating facilities, hot water equipment nor any other essential facility or service with any other dwelling unit.” Therefore, if you have direct access to a street and do not share heating, hot water, or other essential services, the condo is likely a single family residence.
