Landlord and Tenant Rights and Responsibilities
questions & answers
Question: Is a landlord responsible to remove bees from a property?
Answer: The landlord/tenant act requires that a landlord "do whatever is necessary to put and keep premises in a fit and habitable condition" and to "keep all common areas of the premises in a clean and safe condition". A.R.S. 33-1324 A (2) and (3). If you live in a complex this would clearly apply. If you live in a single family residence it is not quite so clear.
