Question: If you moved into a property, but never sighned a lease agreement, can you be evicted?

To find out how the law applies to a specific situation, contact an attorney directly.Under ARS 44-101(6), lease agreements of less than one year in length are not required to be in writing.  Under ARS 12-1173(2), if a tenant fails to pay rent according to the lease agreement (oral or written), a landlord may evict (forcible detainer) the tenant after delivering a written 5-day notice to pay or vacate the premises.
