Question: What happens if you rent a house until foreclosure?
Answer: The Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure Act had a sunset clause that ended the 90 grace period at the end of 2014. Currently there are bills in legislature that are attempting to revive the law and make it permanent.
Arizona's law states that a person must be notified of foreclosure. (ARS § 33-1331) Once the property is sold a person will be asked to vacate the premise unless the new owner agrees to take on the rental agreement.
