Foreclosure

questions & answers

Question: my home had a foreclosure hearing in November but today i received a letter saying. Motion to withdraw motion for summary and default judgement entry and decree of foreclosure and vacate hearing. what does this mean? Thank you in advance for your time

Answer: Unfortunately, without seeing the documents themselves, it is very difficult to discern what is going on. It could be that they discovered an error in the foreclosure process and realized they did not have the legal right to foreclose. I recommend you contact an attorney who offers a free consultation and bring the paperwork to them to help you understand what is going on. I wish I could be more helpful, but absent seeing the documents and the history of the case, it is not possible. I wish you the best going forward.
