Question: I was in process of loan modification with my bank, and house was foreclosed on. I was notified after the foreclosure date, and now have been given Notice of Demand for Possession. What options are there to have 30 days to vacate and financial assistance to do that?

Answer: Your best bet is to contact the real estate agent or lawyer who contacted you and tell them what you need. Be reasonable in your request (30 days is certainly reasonable) and explain to them what happened with the loan modification. If they will not agree, you need to contact a lawyer ASAP.
