Eviction
questions & answers
Question: I have tenants (couple) in my house who were let in by the last tenant. They have no lease, have paid no money. What are my rights? The house is in Maricopa County I am in AK.
Answer: The occupants are considered "tenants at sufference". You can evict them by providing a written notice to vacate. If they fail to vacate following receipt of the notice you proceed with a forcible entry and detainer (eviction) proceeding in the justice of the peace court (A.R.S. 13-1476).
