Question: we rent a home and are a half a month behind on rent, My roomate and I are both on lease i wrote a promise to pay and faxed to him on monday of this week but my roomate is unable to come up with her part so he basically said he was having locks changed today but we have not gotten any formal eviction notice is this legal for him to do since i sent him a promise to pay by today or would vacate didn't say when I would vacate
