Question: I sold my 18-wheeler on a private deal (lease/purchase) and they buyer won't live up to his end of the deal. Not only that but the truck broke down about 3 weeks after we signed the agreement and it is going to cost approximately $20,000 to fix it. What legal recourse do I have?
Answer: If you have a legal contract and the buyer breached, then you may want to consider contacting an attorney to file a civil action against the buyer.
