Question: I recently received a notice from a collection agency stating that I owe $482 for services provided at the apartment complex. I was told at their main office that the charge was for the replacement of the glass stove top and paint. My lease ended on August 19th, 2013; when I went to the office to turn in the keys and schedule a moving out walk-through I was told that it wasn't necessary as no deficiencies were found in the apartment. It's been about 5 months since I moved out and not once did I receive a statement of charges. What should I do?

Question: I was evicted from my apartment in 2010 after being admitted to the hospital and never returned for my belongings. Two years later I went back to rectify the money owed to them and clear my credit history. They had no records on me and told me they were under new management. Now it is 2015 and a collection agency is attempting to collect money in arrears due to a broken lease as well as 10% interest for the 5 years since the eviction. I want to dispute these excessive charges but do I need an attorney to help me? Please advise. Thanks.

Question: I have received a notice to move in 30 days...actually it is only 28 days as they did not figure Feb being a short month...is this legal? They want me to move in the middle of the month...my lease is up in 9/15 - they have given me no reason. Is this legal? Can they evict me? What can I do to stop this? Question: Property Tax Exemptions: found this information "or veterans with a service-connected disability who were residents of the state for at least four years prior to entering the service are also eligible for an exemption. There is no limit on the income of these veterans and the amount exempt varies with the total assessment and/or the level of disability." found this on AZTAX.org is this true? Can Disabled Veterans because I am deemed 100$ total and permanent. Thanks for your help because no one seems to know.

Question: My home has a lien placed on it from my HOA, my question is, Will the lien ever expire? Can they keep adding interest ? Can I lose my home, over 6000, which mostly are Lawyer fees, this all came about after 2 month late fees, which would be 30.00. Question: I live in senior 62 Sec. 42 tax credit property. I have heard the landlord is money oriented and anti-social towards people. I was a real estate agent and specialized in apartment building sales. I have been threatened with immediate eviction for bogus lies, that I had nothing to do with. I looked up the company on az courts. there is nothing since an unlawful detainer in snowflake in 2009. they are in several cities around the state, but based in Idaho. Question: I have lived /owed my condo for 13 years and yes, it's a HOA issue. My HOA has had judgements and liens against several units, both owned by past directors. A new board member purchased them at very awesome price, no one else knew they were for sale, no notice. The " Management Company " said that even though the HOA put those liens/judgements in place, it's still up to the previous to pay back the HOA. Question: I was living at my father's house with my family lease and rent free. There was a fire and everything was destroyed. He has 20000 in personal property damage coverage. The insurance company is refusing to pay for our belongings because they said he isn't residing there. Question: I did a quick walk thru of our trailer. Was rushed so couldn't fully inspect. Found mold. Told office about it and they help to get rid of it. They were told about my husbands health issues. Was told the place was renovated and the roof was replaced when we signed the lease. Recently found out we were lied to. Roof was leaking in spots inside trailer. Contractor came out and said the only thing did was recovered the roof. Remove anything old office the whole roof needed replace. Been over a week and still nothing on roof. Been 2 months with mold, and still nothing. Help please. Thanks

Question: I have submitted notice on 7/28/17 that we would be non-renewing our lease and it would end, as stated in our lease, on 9/12/17. This provided excess of 30 days notice as required. They did not respond until today, 8/7/17. When we moved in, our rent for Sept '16 (9/13 - 9/30) was prorated. In our notice, I stated we would be paying the pro-rated amount of our rent due on 9/1 for the 12 days we will be occupying the apartment. The management let us know that our lease will end on 9/12, but we are responsible for the entire month of Sept. rent. I am unsure. I have communicated with them by e-mail because I wanted to document it.

Question: Can a landlord/Rental agent charge the tenant to complete AZ Form 201-Renter’s certificate of Properties Tax Paid. I rent through a Group, Inc. and was told that Inwould have to pay $50 for this form. I renew my lease on a yearly basis (this being my fourth year), and I just paid a $50 fee for their annual residency review. I found out about this form yesterday when having my taxes prepared by XXX. I never knew about it before, and XXXX has never offered it with each lease renewal.

Question: Upon my mothers death, I inherited her home in a 55+ park. The manager has tried to tell me I cannot stay there because I am only 49. When I pointed out this had been addressed in original contract, she was not happy. Since then, she has spread negative rumors to other tenants, including derogatory remarks regarding my sexual orientation.
