Question: We live in an RV resort, own a park model. We have a business license to do yard work and have been doing well here in the park helping older people that cannot do what we do. We work on the weekends, but the park is considering prohibiting working on Sunday. Can they do this according to AZ law. They have also issued a ruling that people who work for the park cannot do side jobs in the park at all, even on their own time and with their own equipment. Is this legal?

Answer: Review your RV rental space lease agreement carefully. Generally, RV park landlords can add, change, delete, or amend any rule as long as they provide tenants with at least 30 days of written notice. See A.R.S. § 33-2132(B). The Arizona Recreational Vehicle Long-Term Rental Space Act allows landlords to adopt a wide range of provisions, so long as they do not violate very basic rules under the Act.
