Family Medical Leave Act
questions & answers
Question: Can an Employer make you take FMLA and not fill out paperwork even though you are working and not asking to be put on FMLA?
Answer:
FMLA requires your employer to keep your job or a similiar job avialable to you if you must be out for a medical leave for less than 12 weeks. As soon as you begin working FMLA ends. Thus the 12 weeks do not need to be continuous.
