Wills and Living Wills
questions & answers
Question: Is there a way to read a will without contacting the surviving spouse and/or immediate family?
Answer:
If the drafter of the Will has passed away, and the estate of that person is being probated, then the Last Will & Testament is filed with the Court and becomes public record. Under those circumstances, you can ask the clerk of the court (where the probate is ongoing) to view the file (which would contain the Will). To find a specific Arizona court, you can go to the Courts Locator at the Arizona Supreme Court website.
