Question: My case has been "vacated" but still shows up on background checks. Will hiring a lawyer to 'set aside' the felony still be needed...or not? I never received any information that I was even charged with the felony (disorderly conduct). AND - is it possible to have this removed from background checks? Will further expungement/setting aside help at all? thank you!

You may wish to consult with an attorney regarding options for yourself in background checks, etc.
