Question: Once the judge grants civil rights restored, is the persons public record changed?
Answer: The Expunging or sealing records Article http://azlawhelp.org/articles_info.cfm?mc=13&sc=66&articleid=147) contains helpful information on set aside convictions and the restoration of civil rights. A request for the restoration of civil rights is separate from the criminal case. It will have its own hearing and be noted on the record separately from the previous conviction.
