Question: This involves both civil and criminal. Can not seem to get help. Need help for law suit against ex for bank fraud an forgery. Also ex trying to get child support after 17yrs of keeping me away through a corrupt court, which Judge an others were disbarred. Also my Miranda rights were violated. Would need to explain more and request for law suit against ex, and to clear name and clear all back child support, NEED Help PLEASE! What am I to do?

Answer:

Child Support is a parental obligation.  A.R.S. 25-501. However, every case is different and deteminations will be made based on the case-specific facts. A.R.S. 25-320 explains how a child support order can be initiated as well as what information a court may look at in determining whether to grant a child support order. The Arizona Child Support Guidelines is the framework used by courts to determine the appropriate level of child support.  

Within the state of Arizona, there are many resources available for people seeking legal help.  On the criminal side, consider contacting the ASU Crime Victim's Legal Assistance Project at 602-258-1812 or the Attorney General's Office of Victim Services to find legal aid resources.  Family law assitance can be sought from the Family Lawyer's Assistance Project (FLAP) - (602) 506-7948.
