AHCCCS Medical Program
questions & answers
Question: I currently have ahcccs and I am now moving to Florida. Will I still be covered?
Answer: AHCCCS is a health insurance provided to the residents of Arizona. To be eligible for this type of health insurance there are certain criteria that must be met. Because AHCCCS is a state Medicaid program it is uncertain that you can transfer your coverage. Each state has their own Medicaid program. It is uncertain whether the doctors in Florida will accept your type of healthcare coverage. It would be best to contact the Florida Medicaid program.
