Question: am i able to request that parties on my exhusbands side not be present when we go to court for custody issues
Answer: Litigants can request that custody hearings and proceedings are closed to uninvolved parties, however it is at the judge's discretion to do so and usually requires a compelling reason that would impact the safety, privacy, and/or welfare of the participants.
