Question: I moved out of my mothers house and I'm 17, even though I'm under her care, can i qualify for foodstamps? or recieve money each month?
Answer: According to the Arizona Dept. of Economic Security, the United States Dept. of Agriculture is responsible for setting the eligibility requirements for the Nutrition Assistance program. Usually an indicator of eligibility will consist of residency and income status. All are encouraged to apply even if they are unsure if they qualify.
