Parental Rights & Obligations
questions & answers
Question: does a father have to pay ful medical if both parents share custody?
Answer:
In most cases the court will assign how medical expenses should be paid, this may be by one parent, or split between the two. To find out if you have to pay full medical look at your child support decree. It should be listed in the decree. If it is not and you do not believe that you should have to pay for full medical coverage or do not understand why you are the sole parent to pay for medical expenses, you may seek clarification or a modification by the court.
