Question: i have a son and a daughter and i would like my fiance to be their permanent guardian, when we get married does he automatically become their guardian?
Answer: In Arizona a person generally must apply to become a guardian to a minor child. To read about this process please refer to the Arizona Revised Statutes. Specifically, Title 14 Trusts, Estates, and Protective Proceedings. The section that you will want to begin with is §14-5201.
