Child Abuse & Neglect
questions & answers
Question: Is this information up to date considering the major changes made by the legislature in 2014? For example, they stopped using the term "custody" and use only "parenting time now." What else has changed? What is the new statute number for reference?
Answer: You can find the statutes for Legal Decision Making and Parenting Time plus other statutes under article 25 of the Arizona Revised Statutes. Regarding the legal decision making and parenting time, you would want to take a look at ARS 25-401 through 25-415. Family Support is included under ARS 25-500 through 25-530. All of the information is current and up to date at the website http://www.azleg.gov/ArizonaRevisedStatutes.asp?Title=25.
