Question: Can an order of protection be issued to a defendant out of state without an arrest being mad or charges being filed?
Answer: You may want to visit the Arizona State Legislature's website and click on the Legislative Council tab and click on Arizona Revised Statues for information regarding Orders of protection. You may find information on protective orders under Title 13: Criminal Code, Chapter 36: Family Offenses, Section 2: "Order of protection; procedure; contents; arrest for violation; penalty; protection order from another jurisdiction.”
