Question: How do I get married?

Answer:

The general procedure for getting married can be found at A.R.S.§ 25-121, and all the sections that fall immediately afterwards. You must first obtain a license from the Clerk of the Superior Court in your county.  That specific procedure is described in subsection B of the same law cited above.  The license is good for one year.  Most judges and clergymen can perform the marriage ceremony itself.  When selecting a clergyman, you must ensure that the person you have selected is someone "who by the customs, rules and regulations of a religious society or sect [is] authorized or permitted to solemnize marriages or to officiate at marriage ceremonies."  Don't just pull somebody off the street who calls himself a minister!  Good luck, and congratulations!
